Garden Handy E-commerce Site Launched

August 2005: The Handy Trading Company Ltd. has launched the first of it's series of e-commerce sites using the i-ntarsia web site management system, and the latest version of i-ntarsia's e-commerce module. The first site is Garden Handy (www.gardenhandy.com), a site aimed at delivering quality garden products at great prices, and with free delivery.
Handy Trading needed a flexible, low cost e-commerce solution with which to launch their series of trading web sites. "I-ntarsia was ideal" commented Jeremy Lintott, Operations Manager at Handy Trading. "Our concept is to keep things simple. We are not trying to be THE site for garden advice etc on the web. We just offer good products, at great prices, with free delivery. To support this we wanted to be sure that our site wasn't going to look like it has been designed and built by a database programmer! I-ntarsia's e-commerce module allowed us to display our products in the way we wanted them displayed. Using i-ntarsia, we can use database generated product listings hand craft individual product pages if we want to. This means not only that we can get the right feel, we can also get a site which scores well in the search engines".
The Garden Handy site went from concept to trading in just six weeks. This again demonstrates how the flexible i-ntarsia e-commerce module can be used to set up an on-line business.
