Cambridge Semiconductor Launch site in i-ntarsia

2nd. May 2005: Cambridge Semiconductor (CamSemi), a venture-backed technology spin out from the High-Voltage Microelectronics Group at Cambridge University, have re-launched their corporate web site using the i-ntarsia web site management system. As a part of the launch they have introduced the MyCamSemi extranet which provides a mechanism for distributing private information to their investors, partners and early adopter customers.

Like many technology companies, CamSemi had a large amount of complex information to communicate to a range of audiences from financiers to engineers. The site design needed to be clear and precise, yet engaging. Enter Cambridge based, i-ntarsia reseller Cold Soba (www.coldsoba.com). Cold Soba were able to match their own outstanding design and communication skills with the advanced technology available in i-ntarsia.

. “CamSemi wanted a striking design, the ability to update the site themselves and some advanced features, such as the MyCamSemi extranet”, commented Chris Littlefair of Cold Soba. “I-ntarsia was an obvious choice as it had nearly all of the technology required in the standard package and it didn't constrain our design process at all” he continued, “we were very pleased, as were CamSemi, with the speed with which we were able to launch such a complex site”.
