Park Lane UK Car Dealership Site Launched by KCD

9th. November 2010: KCD Media, have launched a new website for the Alton based car dealership Park Lane UK. The project had a number of key requirements:

  • Car data synchronisation with exisiting systems (including Autotrader)
  • Data link between UK site and Park Lane Exports site
  • Web 2.0 look and feel
  • Car search and 'My Park Lane' feature to keep customers informed as cars come into stock

Design specialists KCD used the huge selection of i-ntarsia modules to approach this project.

  • Car database imported into the Generic Directory module
  • Filter based car selection
  • My Park Lane allows stored searches with email availability notification
  • Daily synchronisation of car data with existing systems and export sites
  • Animated sections created and maintained using the Ani-Banner module

The new design and functionality on the site has been well received by customers and sets a new standard for car dealership websites.
