The Cook's Friend Gets Personal

31st. August 2012:
The Cook's Friend Company, home of Handymitts, have launched a new
version of their ecommerce site using the latest i-ntarsia(tm)
ecommerce modules.
The site has had a general overhaul but the major change is in the
personalisation capabilities for the embroidered products. The
i-ntarsia ecommerce offering has had for a number of years the
ability to offer personalisation options. However, the company
wanted to be able to offer custom words and phrases in a variety of
colours and fonts. To achieve this the new eBusiness Personalisation
module was created.
This module allows i-ntarsia ecommerce customers to define almost
any level of personalisation for any of their products. When there
are personalisation options available, the shopping basket features
a 'Configure' button which takes the user through the screens
required to specify the personalisation required.
Keith Steptoe, MD at The Cook's Friend Company is very pleased with
the new functions: "The new product
personalisation module is brilliant. I have lost many orders
over the years because potential customers could not process the
options they wanted through the website.
But now they can do just
about anything they want.
Split 10 black aprons
into singles, personalise each one with different words in
different fonts and different colours. No problem!!!
You can even add a flag
as well. Brilliant!"
